When we do the lessons with the middle schoolers we have to go a lot more in depth, practice being even more patient and encouraging, and be more leaders than participants.
The main difference is that we will have to teach the lesson and not be the ones being taught. Also we will have to make adjustments on the fly because kids are notoriously sporadic.
The lesson will be different because we are the ones having to teach it to the 6th graders, we are no longer learning the material, we are teaching it. Also the 6th graders won't be as focused during the lesson, so we will have to try to keep them focused on what we're doing.
